On December 13 (local time), JAL and Airbus unveiled the actual A350-1000, JAL’s new international aircraft, in Toulouse, France. The aircraft was originally scheduled to enter service by the end of this year, but due to additional cabin (seat) work, the receipt of the aircraft was delayed, and the launch date has been set for January 24, 2024. The new route is Haneda-New York (JL006/JL005).
The interior of the aircraft will be designed with traditional Japanese beauty in mind, in keeping with the interior of the A350-900 aircraft already in service on domestic routes and the Boeing 787-8 aircraft designed for domestic routes. All classes of seats will be redesigned, with a total of 239 seats, including 6 first class seats, 54 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 155 economy seats.
Sheet details and other information will be provided as soon as possible.
