Azabudai Hills’ “Janu Tokyo” to open in March 2024; reservations for accommodations begin; 122 rooms, including 284-square-meter suites.

Amane announced that “Janu Tokyo” (1-2-2 Azabudai, Minato-ku, Tokyo), the first hotel under its sister brand “Janu,” will open in March 2024. In conjunction with this announcement, Aman began accepting reservations on its official website, with rooms available from March 13 (as of the announcement on December 6).

Janu Tokyo is the only hotel to be housed in Azabudai Hills, which is owned by Mori Building. Azabudai Hills consists of Mori JP Tower, a 330-meter skyscraper, two Azabudai Residence Residences (A/B), Garden Plaza with commercial tenants, and Central Plaza, a green space for relaxation, The theme of the project is “Green & Wellness,” and a variety of urban functions will be concentrated in the area.

Janu Tokyo will be housed in the lower level of the “Residence A” tower, which includes 122 guest rooms, eight restaurants and bars, and Janu Wellness, one of the largest wellness and spa facilities in Tokyo, with an area of approximately 4,000m2.

Janu Wellness features one of the largest gyms in Tokyo, a studio for group exercise, relaxation facilities, a 25-meter heated pool, sauna, and treatment rooms, and is available exclusively to hotel guests and members of the “Janu Tokyo Wellness Collective” membership. Members also have access to an exclusive lounge.

There are eight diverse restaurants and bars in the hotel building. The all-day dining restaurant “Janu Mercato” offers pasta, fresh seafood dishes, charcuterie and cheeses at three counters, where guests can enjoy Italian food culture.

In addition, “Janu Patisserie,” which offers a selection of traditional European fresh pastries and baked goods, is located next door, and fresh parfaits using seasonal ingredients can be tasted at the eat-in space.

Other new restaurants include “Iigura,” serving Edo-mae sushi; “SUMI,” a modern interpretation of traditional charcoal grill; “Janu Grill,” with a large live kitchen and wine cellar; “Fu Jing,” Chinese cuisine; “Janu Lounge & Garden Terrace,” offering afternoon tea and light meals; and “Janu Bar,” a mature space for craft cocktails and other beverages. The “Janu Bar” will also be open, offering craft cocktails and other beverages in a space for adults.

The 122 guest rooms will be located on the 6th through 13th floors of Janu Tokyo, and will feature guest rooms and suites with a minimum floor space of 55m2. All rooms feature spacious bathrooms with double vanities, rain showers, and custom-made bathtubs, double closets, sitting areas, etc. Room rates start at 139,150 yen per room per night.

Designed with Asian-inspired interiors and contemporary European elements, many rooms have private balconies with views of the city center. The “Corner Suites” and “Tower View Suites” will feature distinctive windows with views on two sides.

The 284m2 Janus Suite, the hotel’s largest, offers the luxury of a home away from home with two private balconies, a modern kitchen with countertops, a dining table for up to six people, a separate study and library, and a spacious lounge. lounge.
