Tokyo Disney Resort is celebrating its 40th anniversary with great fanfare, and the grand finale of the anniversary year will begin in January with a series of special menus perfect for ending a special year.
The “Strawberry Muffin” (¥550 for individual item, ¥550 plus ¥550 with souvenir plate), which will go on sale at Tokyo Disneyland’s Tomorrowland Terrace on January 23, is a sweet treat with a colorful whipped cream that is sure to catch the eye.
The gorgeous light blue and pink marble colors are reminiscent of the 40th anniversary logo. The moist, strawberry-flavored muffins are the perfect size for a break at the park.
For an additional 550 yen, a “Souvenir Plate” featuring Disney characters in the Grand Finale design is included. It is recommended to put a muffin on the plate and take a picture for social networking.
