Pokémon Group company Baokumu Taiwan Co., Ltd. opened Pokémon Center TAIPEI, an official store selling Pokémon-related products (3rd floor, Building A11, ShinKong Mitsukoshi Taipei Xinyi Xintiandi) on December 8, 2012. This is the second store outside of Japan after Singapore.
Pikachu and Caillou greet visitors at the entrance, and the store interior is designed to resemble an island rich in nature, surrounded by sky and sea. In addition to selling original products inspired by Taiwanese night markets and fruits, the store has an area where visitors can enjoy Pokémon video content and the appeal of the Pokémon card game.
