Posted on 2023-12-192023-12-26 by Editor in Chief

Disney Resort Line, the monorail system connecting the Tokyo Disney Resort areas, will begin operating the fifth green train of the Resort Liner (Type C) on January 1, 2024. With the introduction of this new train, there will be a total of five trains: yellow, pink, blue, purple, and green.

The Resort Liner (Type C) was developed based on the concept of “offering the world of Disney to everyone, anytime, anywhere. Each car is equipped with free space and barrier-free facilities. The Mickey-shaped windows have also been enlarged to allow passengers to further enjoy the view of Tokyo Disney Resort.

To commemorate the start of the service, “free tickets” with a Resort Liner (Type C) green design will be on sale at all stations from the same day. Passengers will be able to ride the green train with a limited-design ticket in hand.

A special exhibit, “Enjoy the ride! Resort Liner,” is currently being held in the concourse of the Resort Gateway Station. Visitors can sit in the driver’s seat and experience what it is like to drive a real Resort Liner (Type X), seeing and touching switches and levers that are normally not visible.

In addition, by operating the touch panel installed in the driver’s seat, passengers can take pictures of themselves aboard the Resort Liner. The photos can be saved on a smartphone.

Other features include seat seats and a photo spot where even small children can touch the hanging leather. There is also a photo gallery that allows visitors to look back on the history of the Disney Resort Line to date. The exhibit will run until September 1, 2024, so why not stop by when you visit the resort?
