M.D. Planning will open “ZUKKU NO MORI” (1405-2 Kamikobori, Katori City, Chiba Prefecture), a dog cottage with a private dog run and sauna for only four dogs per day, in December. In advance of this, the company began accepting reservations at resortgrumping.com.
Located about 90 minutes from central Tokyo by car, the facility is about 10 minutes from the Sawara-Katori Interchange on the Higashi-Kansai Expressway and about 20 minutes by cab from Sawara Station on the JR Narita Line. 5000m2 of land is equipped with a natural grass private dog run and a barrel sauna. The private dog run has a maximum area of 320m2, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee at the attached café while watching your dog run through.
Four types of guest rooms are available, including one that is reminiscent of a fashionable basement room overseas. All rooms are pet-friendly and have a bedroom, eating area, bathroom, and sauna.
For meals, the restaurant will serve hot oven-baked pizza baked in an oven imported directly from Italy. Vegetables are locally grown, and cheese is made in the on-site cheese factory.
