Hawaii’s “Ala Moana Center” unveils its 2024 grab bags. Packed with more than twice the price and sold on New Year’s Day at approximately 50 stores.

The Ala Moana Center (1450 ALA MOANA BLVD., HONOLULU, HI) in Honolulu, Hawaii, will sell its annual grab bag on January 1, 2024.

Approximately 50 stores will participate in this year’s event, offering grab bags ($50 per bag) containing items at least twice the retail price. The bags are filled with items with a retail value of $100 or more, and are sealed so that the contents are not revealed until the bag is opened.

The day will also feature performances by taiko drummer Kenny Endo and Taiko Center of the Pacific, and a raffle (U.S. residents only) for a special goodie bag containing over $500 worth of merchandise.

The store is open from 10:00 to 20:00 on New Year’s Day, and many of the grab bags are sold out soon after the store opens, so early arrival is recommended.
