JR East launches “Kyun♥ Pass” in January, offering unlimited rides on Shinkansen and Shinkansen for 10,000 yen on weekdays. No restrictions on the number of tickets or age.

JR East will start selling a weekday-only one-day pass, “JR East Tabikyun ♥ Early Bird Pass,” through Ekinet. The price is 10,000 yen, and there are no restrictions on the number of tickets or age.

From February 14 to March 14, 2024, on weekdays only, unlimited one-day rides on nonreserved seats of ordinary and rapid trains, Shinkansen and limited express trains, and BRT (Bus Rapid Transit system) within the free area. By making seat reservations in advance, passengers can also board reserved ordinary car seats of Shinkansen and limited express trains up to two times.

Tickets must be issued prior to use through reserved-seat ticket vending machines at stations, etc. The sales period is from January 14 to February 29 (one month to 14 days prior to the start of use).

The lines covered are all JR East lines (including Tohoku, Yamagata, Akita, Joetsu, part of Hokuriku Shinkansen and BRT), Aoimori Railway line, Iwate Galaxy Railway line, Sanriku Railway line, Hoetsu Kyuko line, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway line (between Naoetsu and Arai). The Hokuriku Shinkansen between Joetsu Myoko and Kanazawa and the Hokkaido and Tokaido Shinkansen lines are not included.

Other benefits for “Kyun ♥ Pass” purchasers are available at NewDays, Ecute, Espal, Station Rent-a-Car, and other Ekinka facilities, as well as at restaurants directly operated by JR East Hotels and other restaurants.
