Atsuta Jingu Shrine and Atsuta Police Station, traffic control for Hatsumode 2024 until Jan. 5, with all-night subway service on Jan. 31.

January 1-3, 2024 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. each day

January 4-5, 2024 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day

Visitors can visit the shrine 24 hours a day throughout the year, but from the night of January 12/31 to January 5, 2024, when “Hatsuebisu, the first Ebisu festival for business prosperity” will be held, all parking lots on the shrine grounds will be closed. The old votive card collection points are located at the center of the main approach, the entrance to the south approach, the entrance to the east approach, and the entrance to the west approach.

Please note that parking is prohibited on all surrounding roads during the above period. The restricted areas and temporary parking lots are shown in the guide map (PDF). Subways (except Kami-Iida Line) will be in operation all night on New Year’s Eve. For details, please check the official website of the Nagoya City Transportation Bureau.
