Happy New Year!
At the beginning of the year, I would like to extend my best wishes for a Happy New Year.
Last year, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our flight service. As passenger demand from the Corona disaster showed a full-fledged recovery, our annual passenger volume exceeded that of the pre-Corona period and reached an all-time high. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of our customers, business partners, and related parties who have used our services over the years.
This year, in addition to the high domestic travel demand from last year, strong domestic airline demand is expected to continue, including a further increase in inbound travel. Furthermore, the business environment surrounding the airline industry is expected to change significantly in 2025, as the runway at Fukuoka Airport will be expanded and the number of departures and arrivals is expected to be revised.
This year, we will make it a “Year of Preparation for Takeoff,” as we prepare for such demand growth and changes in the business environment, and steadily prepare for the introduction of the next-generation Boeing 737-8 aircraft in 2025.
In addition, we will continue to pursue thorough cost reductions this year, although there is a risk that the difficult situation may continue due to trends in foreign exchange rates and crude oil prices.
We will continue to pursue on-time operations and enhance customer satisfaction by adhering to the basics, and all employees will work together to achieve our goal of “providing high operational quality and simple, heartfelt service at affordable fares.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy and fruitful New Year and look forward to your continued patronage in the year ahead.
