Tokyo Disney Resort is currently holding its 40th anniversary events. Special menus are now being offered for the grand finale of the anniversary year.
The “Special Set” (3,800 yen) is now available at Restaurant Sakura, a Japanese restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea. The set menu consists mainly of Japanese cuisine with a “Western” essence added to it.
Pink pepper is used instead of sansho in the braised gindara (cod). The “Steamed Wagyu Beef with Sesame Sauce” is served with sesame sauce made from shallots.
The celebratory snacks include shrimp shiba-ni, konbu with baby kelp, chestnut kinton, and black soybeans, in the style of osechi, perfect for the New Year. It will bring you a festive feeling for the year-end and New Year’s holidays.
Other dishes include “Deep-fried octopus, taro and pumpkin” and “Seasonal appetizer (bamboo shoots, shrimp and salmon with miso)” served with rice and miso soup. Priority Seating” is recommended for smooth entry to the restaurant.
