Ghibli Park (1533-1, Ibarakamawariama Otsu 1533-1, Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture) will open the “Valley of Witches” area on March 16, 2024. The “Daisanpo Ticket,” an admission ticket that includes this area, will go on sale on January 10.
The area’s buildings and playground equipment have already been revealed, and highlights include the “Guchoki Bakery,” which appears in “The Witch’s Delivery Service” and actually sells bread, the “Flying Oven,” which serves pies and quiches, and the “13 Witches,” which sells original goods for the area.
In addition, “Bread Seed and Princess Tamago” has been selected to be screened in March at the “Visual Exhibition Room Orionza” in the “Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse” area. The film, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, tells the story of Princess Tamago, who is forced to work in a water mill and tries to escape with Bread Seed, which suddenly comes to life.
