Tokyo Disneyland will hold “Minnie’s Funderland,” the first installment of the special event series “Disney’s Palpalooza” from January 10 to March 19. We were the first to try two desserts with Souvenirs, which went on sale on January 9.
First is the “Strawberry Muffin” (550 yen per item, +550 yen with souvenir plate), sold at the Sweetheart Café and Granma Sarah’s Kitchen.
The blue and pink marble-colored whipped cream is charming, and when you bite into one, the flavor of strawberries fills your mouth.
＋The souvenir plate, which comes as a set for +550 yen, has a ribbon-shaped design that is typical of the special event. The plate cannot be purchased separately, so be sure to get it with the muffin.
Another dessert is “Lemon Jelly & Cheese Flavor Mousse” (550 yen for single item, +550 yen with souvenir). Purple lemon jelly and cheese-flavored mousse are layered, topped with yellow lemon sauce and ribbon chocolate.
The rich cheese mousse and lemon jelly & sauce were a perfect match and I was able to finish it in no time.
Also available for +550 yen, these Souvenir cups depict Minnie Mouse in a variety of expressions. The cups are small, so they can be used not only as beverage cups, but also as interior decorations or to put small items inside.
