Recruit Co., Ltd. announced the “Jaran Spectacular One-Day Hot Springs Ranking” in its travel information magazine “Jaran. The ranking was determined in the form of an Internet questionnaire, and responses were received from 1,041 respondents.
The first-place winner was Koganezaki Furofushi Onsen (15-1, Shimo-Kiyotaki, Futaura-cho, Nishitsugaru-gun, Aomori Prefecture). The spectacular view of the open-air bath built on the coast of the Shirakami Mountains is said to bring a feeling of being connected to the coast.
No. 2 is Akazawa Onsenkyo Akazawa Day Trip Onsenkan (170-2 Akazawa, Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture). The open-air baths with a view are located on the third and fourth floors of a building on a hill. The location overlooking the Pacific Ocean is attractive.
In third place is Tsuru no Yu Onsen (50, Tazawako Tazawa Sentatsu Sawa National Forest, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture). Located in Nyuto Onsenkyo, a hot spring village rich in nature, visitors can enjoy snowy scenery in winter. The open-air baths are mainly for mixed bathing, but there is also a separate private bath for women only.
