LINE Yahoo! JAPAN has updated the “Rain and Snow Radar” function of the Yahoo! JAPAN app (Android/iOS version) to display forecasts up to 15 hours ahead.
The app provides a variety of weather-related information. In addition to today’s, tomorrow’s, and weekly weather, the app provides “lifestyle advice” on what to wear and how to dress for the weather, and radar information on rain clouds, typhoons, wind, thunder, rain, and snow.
With this update, the “Rain/Snow Radar” forecast time has been extended from up to 6 hours ahead to up to 15 hours ahead. Snowfall” and “rainfall” up to 15 hours ahead can now be displayed on the map in four levels of color density.
They can check what preparations will be necessary for the next day’s commute to work or school with a single app.
