We are looking for companies and organizations interested in the following
Acceptance and employment of JICA foreign students who are highly skilled foreign human resources (English-speaking human resources) for internships
Global overseas business development in Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Latin America, etc.
Business collaboration with JICA students
- JICA foreign students
Of the following internship eligible courses, mainly those coming to Japan in 2023: up to 300 students
Background and Objectives
Under the JICA Graduate School of Development Cooperation Initiative, JICA invites approximately 1,000 students from about 100 countries to Japan each year as JICA exchange students and provides them with opportunities to study in master’s or doctoral programs at Japanese universities.
JICA exchange students are government officials, researchers, and private-sector personnel in their home countries, and are expected to use the knowledge, skills, and networks they have acquired in Japan to become future leaders in solving problems and guiding the development of their home countries.
The “JICA Networking Fair in Spring 2024” will be held as an opportunity for Japanese private companies and organizations that are considering internships, employment, and overseas business development of high-level foreign human resources to network with JICA students.
We are looking for companies and organizations to exhibit their booths.
Contents
Part 1: Orientation (introduction of best practices, etc.)
We will introduce some of the best examples of internships and business partnerships with JICA students.
Part 2: Exchange meeting between companies/organizations and JICA students
The exhibitors will provide an overview of the company/organization and its activities at their booths, as well as hold Q&A sessions and exchanges with JICA exchange students.
Part 3: Exchange among companies and organizations
Participants are invited to exchange information and business cards with other participating companies and organizations.
