JR West will hold a special express train “WEST EXPRESS Ginga” train tour on February 17 (scheduled from 10:30 to 12:30) at JR Shingu Station. Approximately 300 participants will be invited.

Participation is free of charge, and the day will include a 40-minute tour of the “WEST EXPRESS Ginga” train and a photo opportunity for children to wear the children’s uniforms. There will also be Ginga goods for sale on the train, a market featuring local products, and Ginga coloring pictures specially made by Shingu station staff.
To apply, send a reply-paid postcard with the necessary information for all those who wish to visit (up to 4 persons, no more than elementary school students) to the Commerce, Industry and Tourism Division, Shingu City Hall (1-1 Kasuga, Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture) by post no later than January 31. The result of the lottery will be notified by reply-paid postcard.
