ResortGlamping.com has begun accepting reservations for accommodations at Doggie’s Glamping Shiga Imazuhama (363 Hamabu, Imazu-cho, Takashima, Shiga Prefecture), which LUCKEL will open in April.
Located about 6 minutes by car from Omi Imazu Station on the JR Kosei Line and about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Kyoto-Higashi Interchange on the Meishin Expressway. The hotel has two types of cabins (natural dome and suite cabin), seven in all, with guest room baths using natural hot spring water.
Private dog runs with no-leash access will be provided in each building, and a 7-meter-diameter dome tent will be available for hourly rental as an indoor dog run.
The hotel will also offer a variety of other dog-friendly services, including amenities for dogs, free rental items, and welcome treats.
The dog meals, which use additive-free ingredients such as venison, duck, and vegetables, cost 1,650 yen for small dogs, 2,200 yen for medium-sized dogs, and 2,750 yen for large dogs.
You can enjoy local foods such as BBQ with Omi beef and Omi duck hot pot with special soup stock for dinner, and fresh salad and Ibuki yogurt for breakfast.
The common area will also feature a bonfire and a transparent dome night bar. Beer, wine, highballs, lemon chuhai, and soft drinks will be served on an all-inclusive basis.
