Booking Resort, which operates resortglamping.com, has begun accepting reservations for accommodation at AKAGI GLAMPING VILLAGE – Akagi Glamping Village (530-1 Ogikubo-machi, Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture), which will be opened by Koei in March.
Located approximately 20 minutes by car from the Komagata Interchange or Hashie Smart Interchange on the Kita-Kanto Expressway, and 20 minutes from the Komayose Smart Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway. Akagi, the hotel has a total of seven buildings, including a suite dome with an observation deck. Accommodation fees start at 16,800 yen per person per night with no meal (for double occupancy).
Guest rooms will feature an open-air bath using hot spring water from 1,200 meters underground and a campfire. In addition, the Dog Cocoon, which is limited to two couples per day, offers a private dog run and amenities for dogs.
For meals, visitors can enjoy BBQ using “Jyoshu Mugibuta,” a brand of pork from Maebashi, which boasts the nation’s top-class pork production and is also known as the “Town of TONTON,” at the dedicated dining space in each building.
In addition, hot springs, meals, swimming pools, and esthetic treatments are available at the adjacent hot spring facility “Ainoyama-no-Yu”.
