President Tanaka Meets with World Bank Group President Banga | News & Media

JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with World Bank Group President Ajay Banga in Tokyo on January 22.

President Tanaka and President Banga discussed JICA’s annual Deep Dive with the World Bank Group, and confirmed that the two institutions will work more closely together, particularly in private sector finance and global health, as well as food security in Africa, They also exchanged views on cooperation in the areas of food security in Africa, reconstruction of Ukraine, and reconstruction of Gaza.

The two organizations further confirmed that they will further collaborate with each other in Southeast and South Asia.
