Culture Convenience Club announced that SHIBUYA TSUTAYA (21-6 Udagawa-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which is closed for renovation, will reopen on April 25.
The new store will have the theme of “Create the world with what you love. the first, first basement, and second basement floors will be used for limited-time pop-up stores and events where customers can enjoy a variety of IP from around the world, from animation, music, and other entertainment to high brands.
The second, third, and fourth floors will be cafes and lounges, providing an environment where people can gain new insights and discoveries in line with the coming “age of the individual. The entire building will have approximately 500 seats.
On the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors, there will be a lounge, bookstore, and café where content fans can connect with each other through experiences that can only be had here.
The 8th floor will be a studio with event delivery functions linked to each floor, and the rooftop will be an outdoor event space.
Details of each floor will be announced on SHIBUYA TSUTAYA’s official X and other sites before the opening.
