The Kobe Waterfront Development Organization announced that Kobe Port Tower (5-5 Wharf-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), which had been closed since September 27, 2021 due to earthquake reinforcement work, will open on April 26.

With the theme of “Kobe’s landmark loved by the local community and recognized around the world,” the renovations have transformed Kobe into a facility that can be enjoyed by all five senses.

For the first time in the history of Kobe Port Tower, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, an open-air deck with 360-degree views has been newly built on the roof, and stores on the observation floor and lower floors have also been newly renovated.

Admission is ¥1,000 for adults/¥400 for children/free for infants for the observation floor, and ¥1,200 for adults/¥500 for children/free for infants for the observation floor + rooftop deck. Admission to the lower floors (1-4F) is free. Group discounts are also available.
