KANKU FERRY offers half-price 2nd-class passenger fares on the Shimonoseki – Busan route. Support “Seishun 18 Ticket Travel” in spring!

Posted on 2024-01-292024-02-07 by Editor in Chief

Kankoku Ferry, a member of the SHK Line Group, will hold a campaign to support “Seishun 18 Ticket” travelers on the Shimonoseki – Busan route during their spring vacation in 2024.

For visitors to Shimonoseki, the westernmost city in Honshu, using the Seishun 18 Ticket, a 50% discount on second-class passenger fares (normally 9,000 yen one-way, 4,500 yen) will be offered for ferry departures from Shimonoseki. The discount applies from March 1 to April 10, and for round-trip travel, from Busan to April 20.

When you make a reservation by phone, you need to inform the port of Shimonoseki of the “Seishun 18 Ticket Travel Support Discount” and present a valid Seishun 18 Ticket (valid from March 1 to April 10, 2024) at the Shimonoseki Port check-in (by 18:00 on the day of the reservation) on the day of boarding.

Reservations can be made from the same day two months prior to the departure date from Shimonoseki to the day before the boarding date. 1st class/special class passengers are eligible for a discount on the 2nd class fare and can board by paying the difference in class.

The service is suspended on odd-numbered days between March 5 and March 15 from Shimonoseki and on even-numbered days between March 4 and March 14 from Busan.
