Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer a limited-time course menu themed on the popular smartphone game “Disney’s Twisted Wonderland” featuring characters inspired by Disney’s Villains.
The year is divided into eight periods, with menus from the seven dormitories that appear in the game (Hartslabul / Savannah Claw / Octavinel / Scarabia / Pomfiore / Ignihide / Diasomnia), as well as a special menu in the final period.
For one week each term, you can taste it at the hotel’s California cuisine restaurant, Empire Grill. The menu is full of the world of the game, and fans (supervisors or dormitory students) will want to taste the menu of their dormitory and their guesses at all costs.
The first course is the “Disney’s Twisted Wonderland” Special Course at Empire Grill – Hearts Rubble” (13,000 yen). It will be served from April 1 to 7, and the hours are from 11:30 to 21:00 each day.
The theme is “Hearts Labyrinth Dormitory” inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” Red, white, and black colors reminiscent of playing cards are used, and patterns of hearts and spades are scattered throughout the decoration.
You will be able to feel the atmosphere of the dormitory, which respects the strict spirit of the Queen of Hearts.
The course consists of six dishes, starting with “Strawberry-scented Gazpacho” and “Red Snow Crab Brandade,” followed by appetizers of “Octopus Galician Style,” “Sardine and Paprika Confit,” “Beef False McGill,” “Grilled Scallops with Salpicon Salad,” “Marinated Salmon with Dill Sauce,” and “Beef Tongue Arancini. The six dishes are “Beef Tongue Arancini.
Next is “Linguine with Kujo leeks and dried scallops in consomme soup with Awao chicken” followed by “Grilled Japanese beef sirloin with fresh onion purée, peperonata and beef jus” for the main dish, a number of items that are very satisfying!
The “Yogurt Parfait Glass with Mandarin Orange Sorbet and Mixed Berry Sauce” served for dessert has a twist: the yogurt parfait glass with a pure white rose form is topped with bright red mixed berry sauce, which you can enjoy by yourself.
You can enjoy the experience of painting white roses into red roses, just like a scene from a movie. Why not enjoy it with a cup of tea after dinner?
Supervisory or dormitory students who order the course will also receive an “original charm”. The design incorporates the dormitory emblem and colors, giving this item a delightful sense of dignity. This is a must-have item!
And what you should order with the course is the “Magical Drink” (1,600 yen). It is based on apple juice, grape juice, and even black tea (iced tea), which is essential for tea parties.
Rose syrup and strawberry syrup are used to create a cup with the gorgeous color of the queen’s favorite crimson roses. Note the bubble at the top that traps the fragrance.
Reservations for the first phase of the “Hearts Rubble” menu will be available through Lawson Ticket at 10:00 a.m. on February 1 for pre-sale (by lottery). After that, it will be available for general sale (first-come, first-served).
The second phase, “Savannah Claw” (offered May 13-19), began pre-sales on March 1 at 10:00 a.m., and the third phase, “Octavinel” (offered June 24-30), began pre-sales on April 10 at 10:00 a.m.
Details of other dormitories will be announced on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website as soon as they are determined.
