JAL Card announced that it will renew its card design and features for the first time in 13 years, since 2011.
Newly designed JAL cards will be sent to newly issued cards on February 20. For those who already have a JAL Card, the new design will be updated for cards with an expiration date of April 2024 or later.
The renewal features a more stylish and modern design than the previous cards with a tail motif. The flat face of the card with no bumps and unevenness, as well as the membership number (credit card number) and expiration date on the back, will reduce the risk of card information being stolen during use.
In addition, the number of cards equipped with touch payment functions that allow customers to make purchases quickly and easily without entering a signature or PIN will be expanded.
