Toffy, a brand developed by Ladonna, will launch Toffy Hot Mess Tins on February 13.
Available in five colors: pale aqua/glaze/rich black/antique red/sand yellow, each priced at 7,800 yen.
This kitchen appliance comes with a special heating stand attached to a mess-tin that can cook rice as well as bake, simmer, steam, and fry. The mestin can also be used over an open flame, so it can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors (IH heaters/ovens/microwave ovens are not supported).
In addition, the heat can be adjusted steplessly from keep-warm to approximately 230°C. With a full water capacity of 1 liter, it can cook up to 1.5 cups of rice. In addition to being able to eat directly without a plate, the interior of the mess-tin is coated with fluorine to prevent burning and can be washed with water.
