Seiko Watch Corporation will release a commemorative 20th anniversary model of the Spring Drive movement “Caliber 9R” from the Heritage Collection and Sports Collection of the Grand Seiko brand.

The SBGA497, which is part of the Heritage Collection, features a dial with a pattern based on the snowy surface of the Hotaka mountain range. The gradation of the dial is reminiscent of a snow field dyed in the morning glow. Priced at 869,000 yen and limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide (650 pieces in Japan), the watch will go on sale on March 8.

The SBGE305 from the Sports Collection comes with a GMT function. The dial is dark red and the bezel is black ceramic, inspired by the rocky surface of the Hotaka mountain range. The price is 847,000 yen and limited to 1,300 pieces worldwide (600 pieces in Japan). The watch will go on sale on June 8.
