llyf Ginza Tokyo, with its extensive common spaces What catches the eye inside the building is its playful interior design, which is patterned after the orange color of the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. The unique illustrations you see here and there were drawn by three groups of Japanese artists on the theme of “Ginza” and “lyf,” and they have been transformed into various graphic designs to decorate the building. It is fun to stay and look at them while wondering which one is your favorite. It is fun to stay while looking at them. Another feature of lyf is its well-equipped shared space. On the second floor, where the front desk “SAY HI” is located, there is a co-working lounge “CONNECT” with power-equipped desks and semi-private working space, a social kitchen “BOND,” a gym “BURN,” and a laundry room “WASH & HANG. The co-working lounge is open not only to guests but also to general guests. You can spread out your PC in a non-formal space so that you can get your work done.
There are a total of 8 types of guest rooms at lyf Ginza Tokyo. Let me introduce you to the guest rooms from here. Let’s start with the “One of a Kind (Studio Double)” that I used this time. This is the most common type of room, with 42 rooms out of a total of 140. Upon entering the room, you will enjoy seeing the artwork on the walls, which is inspired by the streets of Ginza. The vivid red on the desk and shelves is a surprisingly good match, and I was impressed by the functional space that doesn’t feel too small for its 13m2 size. lyf Champion Inoue said, “It’s been well designed with no waste,” and I got the impression that a lot of thought has gone into the design. What I particularly liked was that the washbasin was separated from the toilet and shower booth and placed in the main space. This creates a stylish washstand that blends in with the pop style of the room. The backlight makes you feel excited when it’s time to put on your makeup. In addition to the room we stayed in, here are two other types of rooms we were shown. The “All Together (Triple)” is a 20m2 room that can accommodate up to three people. There are two types of rooms available, one with orange as the base color and the other with wall-to-wall artwork featuring the streets of Ginza, but which one you get will be decided at check-in. Next is a two-bedroom room called “Two of a Kind,” which is the only one available at lyf Ginza Tokyo. It has a living space equipped with a mini-kitchen and can accommodate up to three people. It is a popular room and is often filled. If you are interested in this room, please contact us as soon as it is available! Breakfast with freshly baked croissants from Maison Kaiser is a delight Breakfast at lyf Ginza Tokyo is a morning set served at the cafe & bar “REFUEL+” on the first floor (1,100 yen). The croissants are from the popular boulangerie Maison Kaiser. Although this is not a buffet-style breakfast, guests have the freedom to choose side dishes and toppings. Not only hotel guests, but also out-of-towners can stop by for breakfast for the same price.
