The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau will implement a timetable revision on the Shinjuku Line on March 16 (March 18 for weekday schedules).
On weekdays, one nonstop train departing from Motoyawata Station at 9:00 a.m. will be replaced by an express train, and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the number of express trains departing from Shinjuku Station will be increased from one to four in order to improve express service. On weekends and holidays, one local train departing from Shinjuku Station at 18:00 will also be changed to an express train. In addition, an express train and a local train will be connected at Oshima Station.
In addition, the number of weekday daytime runs will be optimized and other changes will be made to train types and destinations.
