Ace, “Proteka 360G4” suitcase that can be opened from anywhere in 360 degrees. Two storage options with dividers and extensions.

Posted on 2024-02-162024-02-29 by Editor in Chief

Ace will release the new “360G4” model of the “360 (Three Sixty) Series” suitcase from the Japanese-made travel bag brand PROTECA on February 17.

Available in six sizes (24L-105L) and five colors (black, cosmic navy, midnight green, warm gray, and dusty rose), prices range from 77,000 yen to 102,300 yen. It will be available at Ace directly-managed stores, online stores, and major department stores nationwide.

The 360 Series opens vertically or horizontally, and the direction of opening can be changed depending on the usage situation, such as when you want to load or unload luggage while the suitcase is upright or in a cramped interior.

Two different storage methods (one or two compartments) can be used, and this model is newly equipped with a divider on the top side and an expansion function on the bottom side, making it possible to switch between storage methods in a more intuitive manner.

It is also equipped with independently developed “Silent Casters” and “Bearon Wheels. The Silent Caster reduces traveling noise, which is a concern in asphalt and other areas, by approximately 30%, and highly durable chrome steel bearings with low frictional resistance assist the rotation of the casters.

It also has a “magic stop” function that allows the wheels to be fixed with a hand-held switch. The grip portion is oval-shaped and sloped for easy gripping.
