Tokyo Disneyland will hold the second installment of the “Disney Palpalooza” special event series, “Donald’s Quacky Duck City,” from April 9 to June 30.
Disney Hotels are preparing plenty of limited-edition menus featuring Donald Duck, the star of the show, to coincide with the event. From April 1 to June 30, “Disney’s Palpalooza: Donald’s Quirky Duck City” Lunch Course Precious Canna” (7,000 yen) will be available at Canna, a creative restaurant at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
The menu is sprinkled with Donald’s colors and includes such delicacies as “smoked salmon with wormwood, black sesame cake,” “marinated clams wrapped in yuba and sea bream with white asparagus mousse,” and “Poirette of yellowtail with seaweed croute, sauteed heart of cabbage, and shiso leaf form. The menu is also available at the restaurant.
For the main course, you can choose either “Grilled Keiji Kurobuta Pork Loin with Bamboo Shoots Bresse, Charred Cabbage Espuma and Barley Miso Dip” or “Roasted Beef Sirloin with Shariapin Style with Shoyu Koji and New Burdock (extra +2000 yen). Black rice is also served.
For dessert, the “Tonka Bean Blancmange and Strawberry Grated Biwa Sorbet” with the event logo on the plate. The decorations are cute and resemble Donald Duck’s feet.
Drinks are either coffee, tea or “Magical Art Drinks”. Don’t forget to make a reservation through Priority Seating.
