Tokyo Disney Resort held a ceremony to celebrate 100 days before the grand opening of the new Fantasy Springs theme port.
Fantasy Springs is the eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea. The theme is “Disney Fantasy guided by a magical fountain” and consists of three areas, Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland, as well as the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. The theme will be “The World of Fantasy”.
At the ceremony, a development representative from Walt Disney Imagineering, Inc. explained the attractions of the area. This article introduces “Peter Pan’s Neverland,” an area where visitors can enjoy the world of Disney’s “Peter Pan” movie.
According to David Edminster, Walt Disney Imagineering executive production designer, the area is “the first full-size recreation of Neverland as it appeared in the 1954 film. It features an alligator cove, skull rock, and even Captain Hook’s pirate ship, the Jolly Roger, docked there,” he said.
Moreover, when you board the pirate ship, there is a hook on the desk, so you can enjoy taking pictures with Captain Hook’s hook,” he said with a smile.
He also wants visitors to take note of the “Look Out Cookout” restaurant sculpture, which is made of difficult-to-reach ships and other items that have washed ashore in Neverland.
In addition, a new attraction, Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure, will open in the same area, where visitors can enjoy becoming a member of the Lost Kids from the movie.
I hear that this one will make the experience of the vehicle floating softly by pixie dust come true. Between you and me, I’m told that it is also available at …… after you save John, but you’ll have to actually ride it to experience it for yourself.
He also mentions the part of the classical two-dimensional world that he was able to transform into a three-dimensional world. Meeting Captain Hook, Smee, and the Lost Kids is also a highlight.
Next, Na Gwan Chang, Creative Director/Concept Design, Walt Disney Imagineering, also spoke enthusiastically about his commitment to another new attraction, Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggy.
According to him, “Fairy Tinkerbell’s Busy Buggy” is an attraction where families can enjoy the world of Neverland’s fairy valley, Pixie Hollow, in all its glory.
There are plenty of tricks from the entrance, including a Tinkerbell house made of teapots at the entry portal. The shimmering pixie dust is also a point of interest.
The attraction tours SUMMER GRADE, AUTUMN HARVEST, WINTER WOODS, and SPRING VALLEY to assist with Tink’s delivery service.
With an extraordinarily smiley face, she said, “I can enjoy it from a fairy’s point of view!” She also showed us the icy road surface, insects waiting to have their patterns painted, acorn silos, and a giant sunflower field. She said with a big smile.
