A development staff member tells you firsthand about the attractions of Tokyo DisneySea’s new theme port, Fantasy Springs! <Rapunzel’s Forest, ed.

Tokyo Disney Resort held a ceremony to celebrate 100 days before the grand opening of Fantasy Springs, the new eighth theme port at Tokyo DisneySea.

Yumiko Takano, Chairman and CEO of Oriental Land, and Jill Estorino, President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company Disney Park International, took the stage during the first half of the ceremony.

In the second half of the meeting, a development representative from Walt Disney Imagineering, Inc. explained the attractions of the area. This article introduces “Rapunzel’s Forest.

Stacey Schofield, Executive Creative Director of Walt Disney Imagineering, gave an explanation of the “Rapunzel’s Forest” area. The area is a forest in the valley where Rapunzel has lived since she was a child, and at night it is filled with the warm glow of lanterns and other lights.

According to Stacey Schofield, the new area is a world where Rapunzel and her merry band of ruffians have become friends and their dreams have come true. She also introduced the “world’s first Lantern Festivals, where guests can experience the Lantern Festivals with the characters from the movie.

He added, “We watched the movie all the way through and recreated its world. We also wanted to tell a new story and have incorporated it into the area,” he said. For example, with the Snuggly Duckling restaurant, there is a place where Rapunzel once again went into the forest and painted her best pictures in the restaurant.

As for the “Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival” attraction, the entire attraction is designed to resemble a boathouse. Guests board the boat and relive the story as they meet the characters from the film.

They will be present at the scene where the King and Queen release the first lantern for which they prayed, and they will also be led to the most memorable scene in the film.

We would like to visit there ourselves, and I’m sure our guests would too! I’m sure our guests would love to go there too!” and they put a lot of effort into this scene. The boat on which the guests board also has a lantern attached to the stern, so the guests can be immersed in the scene as one of the elements that make up the scene.

The impression of this area also changes drastically from day to night. I hope you will visit both areas as the world becomes even more romantic at nightfall,” he said. He also said that he wanted to bring even more magic to Tokyo DisneySea, and he hopes that visitors will enjoy the magic of Rapunzel’s golden hair and the many other attractions.
