Workman will open its first “Workman Kids store” in Tokyo on March 5 as an in-shop of the #WorkmanGirls Ikebukuro Sunshine City ALPA store.
Workman Kids is a new brand that enables “parent-child link coordination” according to usage scenarios by expanding Workman’s highly functional and low-priced products to children’s clothing. Children’s clothing is developed by resizing adult wear to 120-150 cm, and while it is easy to get dirty and requires frequent replacement, the pricing is kept at 60-70% of adult wear, which is easy on the family budget.
The first store opened on February 22 at the “#Workman Women’s AEON MALL Okinawa Lycoming Store,” and the company plans to open a total of seven stores in FY2024, including three in the Kanto region. Some of the products will be sold at stores nationwide from this spring, and about 30 items will be available at 1,022 stores nationwide from fall.
