Toba Kokusai Hotel, operated by Iseshima Resort Management, will release cheesecakes in collaboration with Mie-supporting Pokemon “Mijumaru” on March 10. Priced at 540 yen per piece.
Toba Kokusai Hotel’s traditional cheesecake, celebrating its 60th anniversary, is made with Meyer lemon, a specialty of Mie Prefecture. The refreshing flavor is perfectly balanced with creamy and rich cream cheese.
The cake is baked with a sprinkling of Futami salt, made from seawater in Futamigaura, as a secret ingredient. The cake is also topped with confectionery that resembles pearls.
The package design features the fresh yellow color of Meyer lemons and cool waves along with mijumaru.
At the following directly managed stores, cheesecake purchases will be offered with a mijumaru cake pick.
