Hokkaido chocolate maker Lloyds Confecto will sell special tours to commemorate the second anniversary of the opening of Lloyd’s Town Station.
The tour will be held on March 23. The tour will take you from Sapporo Station to Lloyd’s Town Station by chartered “Sanmei-go,” a sightseeing train converted from a Kiha 40 diesel train. The tour will then take a chartered bus to the Lloyd’s Town factory, where visitors can enjoy a tour of the “Lloyd’s Cacao & Chocolate Town” hands-on facility and shopping at the “Lloyd’s Town Factory Shop.
Lunch is a BBQ at the farm restaurant “New Drive-in Toubetsu”. adult’s menu includes 3 kinds of meat that Toubetsu-cho is proud of (Smile Pork from Asano Farm/ Lamb from Ito Jingisukan/ Venison from Jibier Kobo) and assorted vegetables, free refill of rice, soup and a drink. The children’s menu includes lamb, mini franks, vegetables, grilled rice balls, marshmallows, soup and a drink.
Also, stop by “Hokurono-Kaze Tobetsu Roadside Station” where you can find a variety of specialty products. On the way back from Tobetsu Station, take the “Yamamyo-go” train back to Sapporo Station.
Four courses are available by seating, and Hokkaido Optional Tours (Hotto Bus) will accept participants until March 8 (capacity of 45 people).
