The Nanki-Shirahama Marriott Hotel (2428 Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture), operated by Mori Trust Hotels & Resorts, will launch the “Panda Family Museum Stay” plan, a special room stay in collaboration with Adventure World. The stay is available from April 13 to March 31.
This special room is decorated with a motif of a family of four giant pandas living at Adventure World (2399 Kenda, Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture), a theme park about 10 minutes from the hotel by car. The room type is “Japanese/Western-style room, seaside twin” (42m2), and the wallpaper, Japanese-style tatami mats, table, and even mugs are decorated with designs of the unique panda family.
The concept of this special room is “Meet Adventure World’s Panda Family”, and the room has been redesigned to allow visitors to enjoy the family tree of the panda family, the largest family in Japan. The room is designed to allow visitors to enjoy the family tree of the largest panda family in Japan, including the father panda who lives in China.
In addition, there are other interior decorations such as bamboo lights made from bamboo, which is the staple food of pandas and is said to be a sustainable material, and visitors can enjoy taking AR photos with pandas by holding their smartphones over the words “Panda Family Museum” on the wall after installing a dedicated app.
Dinner and drinks with panda motifs are served in guest rooms. Guests can taste menu items such as “Panda Burger” and “Original Frozen Yogurt Drink” using a special bun with a cute panda design from Adventure World. The hotel lounge on the first floor also offers an original burger (4,000 yen per burger) with grilled Kumano beef sandwiched between panda buns.
