NIVEA Kao will launch the “HELLO NEW 8×4 Campaign,” a collaboration between its 8×4 antiperspirant deodorant brand and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty.
The project is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of 8×4 and Hello Kitty together in 2024, and a total of 2,520 winners selected by drawing will receive a plush toy with an original design.
The plush toys come in nine varieties, including Kitty holding an 8 x 4 spray can, and other Sanrio characters who have been dressed as Kitty with ears and ribbons. All entrants will also receive “original smartphone wallpaper.
The campaign will run for two phases. The courses and prizes to be applied for will vary depending on the amount of the product purchased.
In conjunction with the campaign, a limited edition Hello Kitty design can of the standard product “8×4 Powder Spray” will be released on May 25 (manufacturer’s suggested retail price not set).
