The Kyushu Round Trip Tourism Revitalization Consortium opened RV Park smart at “Michi no Eki Toyo” (1051-1 Toyo-machi Minami, Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture) and started reservations for overnight stays.
RV Park smart is a wide-area overnight spot that is being developed to promote tourism in areas such as transit areas. Yatsushiro City has been focusing on the promotion of outdoor activities in recent years, and has been developing a base to welcome outdoor visitors, which led to the introduction of RV Park smart.
There are six overnight stay points in the Hitoyoshi Kuma region, two in Nishimera Village, Miyazaki Prefecture, and one in Takanabe Town on the border between the two prefectures. With the opening of these points, a car-nighting tour route connecting the southern part of Kumamoto Prefecture to Miyazaki within an hour has been realized. In the future, the company plans to introduce a car-night tour route starting from Michi no Eki Toyo to Itsuki-mura, Nishiki-machi, Yumae-machi, Nishimera-mura, and Takanabe-machi.
