Cushion for Mickey to ride on! New “Space Mountain” merchandise can be enjoyed both for decoration and for use!

Posted on 2024-03-052024-03-18 by Editor in Chief

Tokyo Disneyland will hold the special event “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! will be held from April 9. Space Mountain is scheduled for a new incarnation in 2027.

In conjunction with the event, we will have merchandise to carry your memories of your last space trip & past at the current Space Mountain. Just looking at the designs will bring back memories of the attraction. The product will go on sale on April 8 and will be handled by Planet M.

The “Cushion” (4,000 yen) is shaped like the vehicle that guests ride in the attraction. Combined with the plush badge (2,500 yen), guests can enjoy a scene as if Mickey Mouse is about to depart for outer space.

If you want to enjoy the rocket-like atmosphere of the connected stations, we recommend the “Disney Vehicle Collection Set” (2,800 yen). It would be a great idea to collect several vehicles to recreate a memorable scenery.

The “Interior Light Planetarium Style” (3,900 yen), which is a light version of the attraction’s exterior design, is also available. The planetarium is designed in the image of Space Mountain, creating an atmosphere like outer space. The size is 13 x 13 cm (diameter x height).

The special event logo, the Space Mountain attraction logo, and even items designed to make the reborn look like the future.

The “Postcard & Sticker” (500 yen) includes two luminescent stickers and a card. Pin badges (1,200 yen) and can badges (500 yen) are a must-have for your collection. Decoration magnet set (2,500 yen) and badge set (2,200 yen) can be placed in your favorite places.

In addition, as part of the “Tokyo Disney Resort Circulating Smile” program, a lineup of “badge badges” (3,500 yen) upcycled from attractions cast members’ costumes is also available!

There is no other item more memorable than this one! It is one of a kind. Note that the design of the “badge badge” will be unique depending on the part of the costume that is cut out. We can’t wait to see what they come up with.
