NEXCO West Japan Shikoku Regional Office and Kyushu Regional Office will begin a trial commuter pass for ETC vehicles only on April 1 on the Nagasaki Expressway and a section of the Nagasaki Bypass in Nagasaki Prefecture and on the Takamatsu Expressway in Kagawa Prefecture.
Commuter Pass offers up to 50% discount on designated sections regardless of the day of the week or time of day; available for mini cars and regular cars equipped with ETC.
In the Kagawa and Nagasaki prefecture areas, a total of 500 monitors will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis each month for a one-year period from April 1 to March 31, 2025 for designated sections (between 14 interchanges on the Nagasaki Expressway and Nagasaki Bypass and between 10 interchanges on the Takamatsu Expressway). The company plans to review the results of the trial and consider revising the weekday morning and evening discounts in the future.
