Seibu Railway will change some of its regular 4-car trains on the Ikebukuro and Seibu-Chichibu Lines to 8-car trains in order to provide more convenient access to the Chichibu area, including “Hitsuyama Park Shibazakura-no-oka” (63605 Omiya, Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture). The period is from April 6 to May 6.
On weekdays, one more downbound local train (from Hanno to Seibu-Chichibu). On weekends and holidays, one down limited express train will be extended from “Hanno” to “Seibu-Chichibu”.
In addition, a “Spring Campaign to Chichibu Shibazakura Hill” will be held to give SEIBU Smile POINTs to passengers who purchase express tickets or reserved-seat tickets with “Smooz”, and walking events related to viewing the “Shibazakura” in Chichibu Yozan Park will be held.
