Tokyo Metropolitan Government rewards up to a total of 12,000 yen in points for four types of QR code payments. Starts today, March 11.

If you use QR code payment to purchase products or pay for services at participating stores in Tokyo, up to 10% of the payment amount (up to 3,000 yen equivalent) will be redeemed at a later date. The following QR code payment methods are available.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold the “Support Your Lifestyle! TOKYO Genki Campaign” to stimulate consumption from March 11 to 31 at 23:39.

*Available for phones other than au, docomo, Softbank and Rakuten Mobile.

The maximum amount of refund is worth a total of 3,000 yen for each QR code payment during the campaign period (the maximum amount per payment is also 3,000 yen); if all four QR code payments are used, the maximum total amount is 12,000 yen.

The target stores are stores in Tokyo (excluding some stores) that have introduced one of the four QR code payment methods, and the specific target stores are listed on each QR code payment application or website.

The campaign is also available to residents of Tokyo, even if they are not residents of Tokyo.
