Ishikawa Prefecture will begin accepting reservations for “Hokuriku Ouen Wari” plans from today, March 12 (reservations for Niigata, Toyama, and Fukui prefectures will be accepted after March 8).
The “Hokuriku Ouen Wari” program announced by the government will subsidize up to 50% of the travel price (accommodation products and accommodation travel products with transportation) for domestic and international visitors in order to restore tourism demand in the four Hokuriku prefectures that suffered a decline due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024.
The program applies to stays between March 16 and April 26 (including check-out on April 27), and reservations can be made directly at participating lodging facilities, as well as through travel agencies and OTAs designated by each prefecture.
