JR West and JR East will hold the “ICOCA/Suica Shopping Campaign” from March 16 to April 7 to commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa – Tsuruga line.
Those who use ICOCA or Suica to make purchases at participating stores at stations between Itoigawa Station (Niigata Prefecture) and Tsuruga Station (Fukui Prefecture) will receive up to 10,000 WESTER points or JRE POINT points in a drawing.
One entry will be awarded for every 1,000 yen of accumulated ICOCA or Suica spending, including tax, during the campaign period. A total of 400 winners will receive prize points (see below) after late May.
To participate, you need to make an entry through the campaign website (available from March 12 to April 7).
