Lotte announced that Lotte Wedel in Poland will open a Chocolate Factory Museum in the fall of 2024.
The facility will allow visitors to experience the chocolate production process through all five senses. The building’s design is based on the motif of a giant chocolate bar, and its location on Emil Wedel Street will allow visitors to view Warsaw’s skyscrapers and the adjacent Skaliszewski Park from the roof top.
The new building, with eight floors above ground and one below, will have a total floor area of 8,700 m2, and will include half a museum space and half a production space. The facility, which was once a silo used for cacao processing, has been rehabilitated and will also house a chocolate café.
