Hankyu Hanshin Department Store will release school bags for entering students in 2025 on March 20. They will be available at the Hankyu Umeda main store and five other randoseru (school bags) stores nationwide, as well as through the online store.
The Hankyu Train model has been renewed for the first time in three years, with a total of four types: 1000 Series, 9300 Series, 8000 Series, and 8000 Series Simplicity. Priced at 96,800 yen each, they are compatible with the Cabbage Cover L, which is sold separately.
The studs on the front of the cover, which resemble front lights, have a reflective function, and the front pocket carries a name tag with a Hankyu train stamp and station nameplate design. The bottom of the inner lining is green in color to resemble a seat.
The BASIC model, with its simple and classic design, is now available in six new genderless and gentle nuanced colors: black, navy, maroon, cocoa, cinnamon, and pink.
Each is priced at 59,950 yen and is compatible with the separately sold Cabbage Cover LL. The back of the cover is also in the same color, and the Hankyu’s original nasucan is antique gold for a stylish look.
The “CAREN” lineup, with a theme of “adult elegance” like violets, includes three models (tarte tatin, financier, and canele) that will tickle the curiosity of girls.
The most popular financier model (69,300 yen each, exclusive cover included) will be available in the new colors Milky Cassis, Mascarpone, and Earl Grey.
In addition to the “Manege” and “Rodeo” models, two new horizontal “Satchel” (84,700 yen) and “Ribbon Frill” (90,200 yen) models, in collaboration with the maroon-colored school bag brand “LIRICO,” will be available.
In conjunction with the launch of this product, the company will also introduce a rental service that allows customers to try out the product at home. The service covers four types of Hankyu original school bags: HANKYU DENSEN, CAREN, ajew, and BASIC.
