Logos Corporation, which develops the outdoor brand “LOGOS,” will release the “LOGOS Short Swedish Torch” on March 14. The price is 3245 yen.
The Swedish torch is a traditional Scandinavian bonfire method of lighting a fire directly on a log that has been cut into pieces. This product is a smaller version of the Swedish torch with a burn time of 80 minutes, about half that of conventional products. Air is drawn in through the cross-shaped incisions to create an updraft, resulting in a structure that burns efficiently despite its simple shape.
It is sized to fit in the Pyramid TAKIBI M (sold separately) and can be used on top of a bonfire pit, and the cutout at the top serves as a goto for cooking with a skillet or Dutch oven on top of the log.
The use of optional items allows for easier ignition and combustion. The tunnel hole in the center is large enough for a “waterproof fire lighter” to fit through, making it easy to ignite when used with the “LOGOS Ignition Burner. With the “LOGOS Fire Blowing Stick,” when a fire goes out, combustion can be accelerated and the flame can be rekindled by feeding air through the incision.
It is also small enough to fit in the Raku-Raku Firewood Carry and Baylor Bag M (sold separately) for easy transportation and storage.
