Enshu Bus will begin accepting credit card and smartphone touch payments on March 23. Also e-wing, a direct bus service to Centrair

On March 23, Enshu Railway will launch a touch-settlement service using credit, debit, prepaid, and other touch-settlement cards, as well as smartphones and other devices with these cards installed, on the Entei buses it operates.

Outline of Entei Bus Touch Payment Support

Supported buses: Approximately 70 buses on the Entekko Expressway (including all shuttle buses to and from Tateyamaji Line and JR Maizaka Station, which will provide access to the Hamanako Flower Expo 2024), all e-wing buses directly to Central Japan International Airport, and all e-LineR inter-city express buses.

Payment brands: Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay *Mastercard to be added in due course

Five companies are participating in this service: Enshu Railway, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, JCB, Reship, and QUADRAC. The service utilizes Sumitomo Mitsui Card’s “stera transit” payment solution for public transportation.
