MANGA ART HOTEL, BAKUROCHO, a hotel for reading manga, opens. Directly connected to Bakurocho Station, with approximately 2,000 comics in stock.

JR East Japan Urban Development Corporation will open “MANGA ART HOTEL, BAKUROCHO” (1-10-12, Nihonbashi Bakurocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on April 1. The hotel is directly connected to Bakurocho Station and has four guest rooms.

The second to fifth floors of the seven-story building have a spacious guest room configuration, with one room per floor (75m2), The hotel is also designed with the long-term stay of inbound guests in mind.

The top floor is occupied by the shared office “MANGA AND BOOKS WORK LOUNGE. With approximately 500 business books and business-related comic books, it aims to “deepen learning about work and find clues to solve problems through books and comic books. Private rooms that can be registered are available for 50,000 yen per month (initial cost of 100,000 yen), and private one-seat rental plans are available for 200 yen per 15 minutes on a pay-as-you-go basis.
